Overview
Children go through key developmental stages as their minds take shape and as they begin their education journey. The Diploma in Teaching Young Learners aims to develop teachers’ knowledge and practical skills required to teach young learners effectively during these stages and to set children on course for their future schooling.
Be able to easily apply practical approaches and plans for young learner lessons within your classroom and prepare materials and ideas for specific activities. The course is based on teaching practice and lesson evaluation, and is overtly practical in content and approach.
This course is suitable for newly-qualified teachers who have zero or limited experience teaching young learners and for more experienced teachers who wish to update their skills and specialise in teaching children.

Assessment
Submission of assignments will result in achievement of the Diploma in Teaching Young Learners. This includes continuous assessment of practical ability as well as written assignments and quizzes.
Delivery
Distance Learning
For the self-guided, busy individual who wants full control over their learning. With this mode you will be given 24/7 access to the Learning Management System where you will find all course information and resources, Then you can study and submit assignments at your own pace. You will still have access to a tutor should you have any questions.
Hybrid Learning
With this mode of learning, you will receive all the benefits of Distance Learning plus up to twelve hours of one-to-one support with an expert tutor who will guide you through the course.
