Modules
Candidates attending the Diploma in Academic Management and Directorship will study four modules.
Module 1: Leading and Managing the Establishment
Module 2: Developing and Monitoring Staff
Module 3: Evaluating and Developing Resources
Module 4: Enhancing Performance
Assessment
Participants are required to complete five assignments consisting of research, reports and presentations and one graduation project. These are practical projects with a theoretical underpinning. There is no final examination.

The course equates to a total of approximately 375 hours.

Candidates should be in a position of line management experience in an educational or business context.
It is also desirable to have an initial teaching qualification, a diploma in Teaching Methodology, TEFL, TESOL or Educantional Leadership and Management, and at least five years' ELT teaching or operational experience.
