Independant Study Modes
For learners who value flexibility and autonomy, our independent study modes provide the freedom to learn in a way that suits you best. Designed to fit around busy schedules, these options allow you to balance your studies with work, family, and other commitments without compromising on quality or support.
Choose from distance learning or hybrid learning, both offering a flexible approach while still giving you access to expert guidance, resources, and a structured pathway to success.
This study mode is for the self-guided, busy individual who wants full control of their learning. Completing a career-boosting course might be a goal of yours, but it can seem out of reach if you do not have the free time for scheduled lessons or cannot commit many hours a week to learning.
With Distance Learning, students learn at their own pace. You will be signed up to the Learning Management System upon your enrolment and will be provided with all the course materials you need with access to an expert tutor should you have any questions or require support. Learning will be in the form of independent self-study, meaning you can revise content and complete your assignments at any time.

Hybrid Learning
The Hybrid Learning option is a personalised, flexible tuition plan with live lessons. Students will attend one-to-one support sessions with an expert tutor who will guide them through their subjects.
Enjoy learning at times to suit you. When you enrol, we will ask you your availability so we can arrange lesson times that fit into your schedule.
All lessons are recorded and are available to be rewatched at any time, so you can revise anything you have previously studied. You will also have access to online learning platforms on which you can access your course materials and submit assignments.
Virtual Campus
The Notting Hill College Virtual Campus is a state-of-the-art, personalised learning environment that caters to all student needs.
Studying via the Virtual Campus increases the accessibility of quality courses. Learners can gain accredited qualifications wherever they are on their own terms, in an educational setting that is reflective of an in-person classroom experience. Studying this way means you will save costs on travel and can fit learning around your busy lifestyle.
Whatever course you are completing, you will start your Virtual Campus journey with an induction familiarising you with all features of the platform. You will be added to a course WhatsApp group with your tutors and classmates and have the opportunity to ask questions and share ideas.

Allows you to maintain communication and collaboration with your classmates, to access student support from your tutors and to receive feedback on your assignments.
Learning Management System
Moodle: On this platform, you will be able to watch recordings of previous live sessions at any time, meaning you never miss a lesson. In addition, the Learning Management System is where you can access course materials and handbooks and submit official assignments for grading.
